March 26, 2023

During the Fifth Week of Lent and forward, our focus is solely on Jesus’ redemptive work of suffering and dying on the cross for our sins and his resurrection on the third day. I would ask that all of us make a special effort to maintain a reverent silence in church, especially after Mass on Sunday. If you need to converse, please do so in the rear of the church rather than in the aisles, and do so in a lower voice. There are those who would like to spend time in prayer during these holy days. Please give them the sacred space they need to do this. After all, the church is sacred space because it is the house of God. Thank you for your cooperation.

Please mark your calendars for all Holy Week services:

Confessions during Holy Week will be: Monday evening, April 3rd from 6:00-8:00pm, Wednesday afternoon, April 5th from 2:00-4:00pm and Holy Thursday morning from 10:00-11:00am.

Confessions will be only by appointment after this time. Please make good use of the times made available for you to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation. This is plenty of advance notice for you to do your Easter planning. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
