May 3, 2020
With the coming of May comes the month of the Blessed Mother. I don’t know about you, but I will certainly miss crowning Mary as Queen of May with all the ceremony that goes with such an event. With social distancing now the norm for the past couple of months, it presents a challenge for us to carry on the things we are used to and love in new and innovative ways. Sometime this month, I’ll try and stream something for May Devotions and see how it turns out. Stay tuned!
I would also like to voice my thanks for all those who are continuing support of our parish during these months of distancing. I know it is a challenge for you to sacrifice like this, and I most deeply appreciate it. Your continued support is deeply appreciated. Also, please remember to fill out your census forms, either by E-mail or through the U.S. Postal Service. This information is important for us as a parish family to know where we stand on many fronts. Thanks in advance for your cooperation.
My heart and prayers are with you as we face what the Corona virus brings our way. Having already buried someone who was a victim of this and hearing of others who have contracted it is very sobering indeed. This must be taken seriously. While it is difficult to keep to the distancing and I feel especially bad for all those affected economically by this, perhaps if we pray more and try to stay in place, we can turn the corner on this and be together once again , especially at Sunday Mass.
Blessings and health to you. Let us pray for one another.
