Christmas is fast approaching, and so it is important to be reminded of the Mass and Confession schedule for this sacred time. Confessions will be Monday, December 23 from 2-4:00 p.m. and Christmas Eve morning from 10-11 a.m. Masses on December 24, Christmas Eve are at 4:00 p.m. as the Children's Mass and at 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. For Christmas Day, December 25, Masses are at 7:30, 9:30 and 11:30 a.m. 

I must give heartfelt congratulations to our music ministry on a job well done at their Festival of Lessons and Carols. Everyone who took part enjoyed themselves thoroughly at the quality of the music offered. Assumption is truly blessed to have such talent, and we as a parish were blessed by their gift of music to celebrate Our Savior's Birth. 

New Year's Day is a Holy Day of Obligation this year. Masses will be at 4:00 p.m. on December 31, and 7:30, 9:30 and 11:30 a.m. on January 1. 

This Tuesday, December 24th, Pope Francis will open the Holy Door to inaugurate the Holy Year. There are many opportunities for graces to be received during this time. The Cleveland Diocesan Website has enumerated these for your convenience and spiritual profit. Please avail yourselves of these opportunities.
