Scripture Readings

During the Funeral Mass, three Scripture readings are proclaimed: a First Reading from the Old Testament, a Second Reading from the New Testament, and a Gospel Reading. These readings remind us of God's promise of eternal life and the hope we have through the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.

We invite you to prayerfully review the options below before your planning meeting. During your meeting, a member of our parish staff will be happy to answer any questions and help you make your selections.
