CYO Cross Country:

Cross Country is sponsored for boys and girls in grades 2-8 and is open to all Assumption Academy students, Church of the Assumption parishioners, PSR students or Broadview Heights residents without a church affiliation. Registration for the fall 2024 season will open soon. 

Practices start in late July and are usually held 2x a week. Meets take place on either Saturdays or Sundays from late August through mid October and are held in varying locations across the greater Cleveland area. 

Grades 2-3 run 1.0 miles, grades 4-5 run 1.5 miles and grades 6-8 run 2.0 miles.

CYO Volleyball:

Volleyball is sponsored for girls in grades 3-8 and is open to all Assumption Academy students, Church of the Assumption parishioners, PSR students or Broadview Heights residents without a church affiliation.  Registration for the fall 2024 season will open soon. 

Practices start in late July and coaches determine the frequency of practices during the week. Games are played on the weekends from late August through mid October. Teams may also participate in additional mid-season or post-season tournaments at their discretion. 

Depending on interest levels, it is possible that two grades may be combined to form a single team.

Students are also invited to participate in additional Fall CYO sports offerings, including football, cheerleading, soccer and tennis. Assumption does not sponsor these programs; however, our students have the opportunity to play through a partnership with our sister school St. Albert the Great.
