During this Year of the Eucharist, it was a good thing to take part in the Corpus Christi Procession. While the rain and wet conditions prevented us from going outside, it was a lovely event to honor our Eucharistic King. My sincere thanks to the Assumption Liturgy committee, the Knights of Columbus, and to all who made this day special to honor the Eucharistic Jesus. May God reward you.

As we celebrate Father's Day, I would like to extend my prayerful best wishes for a Blessd and Happy Fathers' Day. Fatherhood is a crucial vocation to the success of family life as well as the social welfare of children. There is a Pew survey which shows that when parents practice their faith, particularly fathers, nearly 100% of their children remain active in the faith. This means that fathers have a big role to play in the vibrancy of the parish. Good example really goes a long way. I would like to thank all fathers for the care they take of their familis, and for those who have departed for their eternal reward, blessed light, joy and rest in the heavenly kingdom.
