Weekly Principal Notes

April 14, 2024

When was the last time you prayed for someone else? It could have been two minutes ago, or two years ago. We each have a time of need. Sometimes it is easy for us to see who is struggling, but many times we cannot see who is in need of love and support. We walk by others and make judgments, even if we try not to. Sometime to be mindful of is that even if someone appears to be well put together and showing a smile on the outside, they may be facing struggles that we are unaware of. This is where our prayer comes in. When we pray for others we ask for grace to be given to them, so that they may feel the warmth of God's touch, and feel supported. Praying for others is selfless, asking for nothing in return. This April I challenge our students, and all of you to pick just one person, and pray for him/her. If we all do this, just imagine the kind of world we would be living in. Oh,  and one of the greatest things about prayer, is that right now is the best time to pray, so don't wait!
