As I introduced the Master Plan at the Masses last weekend, it was exciting to see so many people looking at the renderings and asking questions. While there were some who approached me for information on several points, there were more that perhaps didn’t have the chance to have their questions answered.  

Therefore, I would like to take this opportunity to cordially invite you to a Town-Hall meeting to be held on Tuesday, October 14th at 7:00 p.m. in the church to give everyone a chance to have any questions they might have concerning the Master Plan or its 1st phase of Assumption Commons. I look forward to seeing you there. Mark the date on

Don’t miss the evening of Praise and Worship this Monday, October 6 at 6:30 p.m. in church. This is a wonderful way to spend time in the presence of the Eucharistic Jesus.  

As we celebrate the Feast of the Holy Rosary this Tuesday, let us pray for hearts to be converted, those who fail to value life as well as those who find themselves degrading the sanctity of human life because they can see no other resolution. As the rosary extols the life of Jesus, so may we who offer this prayer to our Blessed Lady value life and promote its dignity in our attitudes and practices, both social and economic. Let us also pray for all poor sinners, that their hardened hearts be penetrated by the love of Christ so that they may imitate him in their words and actions.
