Many thanks to all who helped make our Solemn Eucharistic Devotions special. I’m sure that God will reward greatly all who served as music ministers as well as at the altar, not to mention those who took time to spend with the Eucharistic Jesus upon the altar. Again, I would like to issue a challenge. There are open spots for adoration in the Divine Mercy Chapel. Let’s try and fill these. I would like to extend hours, but I would need 7 adorers for every hour I extend it so that all days are covered. It would be nice to open the chapel the way it was before COVID, but it takes willing people to make that possible. Those who make this effort speak about the great blessings that come to their families from this time spent with Jesus. Why not give it a try? It will be well worth it.
As the Fall Season begins, we have 2 new programs for spiritual growth on which we ask God's blessing. The first is The Chosen, a Bible Study that is based on the television series of the same name that will give us a Catholic perspective on the topics studied. This begins on Wednesday, September 24 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the Lower Rectory Hall.
The second is for those who are grieving. Whispers of Hope is a six week journey that assists those in grief through teaching, personal testimony and group sharing how to cope with the feelings and moods that grieving a loss often brings. This begins tomorrow, Monday, September 22. at 1:00p.m. in the Lower Rectory Hall
